Coaches

Bob Gilmour installed a great work ethic and taught us to respect the game one of his greatest coaching moves was when he pinch hit himself for David Vince and........ hit a home run!

Bob Moses assistant coach who took his love for the game to a different level, he is now the head umpire for Kingston

Executive

Wayne "Chum" Cleary-Represented by his wife Bev
Ken Matthews- a long time volunteer and just inducted into Kingston hall of fame
Liz Elliot- dedicated herself for years to the ponies, and even supplied us with a bat boy, her son Robbie.
Terry Leonard- 1993 was a special year and some say the "rock" had a lot to do with their success.
John Potter- another long time volunteer , but we could never count on him to do any of the driving.
Joe Hawkins - president then and now the work he does for the ponies is just amazing.

Players

Pat Gilmour, 1B- hit for average, good on base percentage great with glove at first.
Kevin Burgoyne, 2B- good clutch hitter, could play any infield position well.
Tim Leonard,3B/ss- Hit game tying and game winning homeruns against Peterborough in the deciding game of their playdown series to send the Ponies to the Ontario championship tournament.
Mike Knott, P/C- the greatest home run hitter in Ponies history! Holds single season and career records for homeruns.
Justin Kemp, ss- from Australia played one year but gave us all a lifetime of memories.
David Cleary, cf- great hitter but will always be remembered for his centerfield magic,one of the best.
Bill McIlroy, of- veteran leader who seemed to be in on every play.
David Vince, of- great young power hitter, brought a lot of energy to the team.
Paul Tolles, of- another great young player could do it all offensively and defensively.
Mark Cleary, of- power everything, great base stealer, cannon for an arm.
Mike Compeau, inf/of- one of those players that could play anywhere, very valuable.
Scotty Martin, inf- utility guy that brought winning ways from his great hockey career to the diamond.
Mike Smith, c- would go through a wall for you and always had every ones back.
Joe McMaster, utility- Could play catcher when needed, a "clutch" hitter off the bench.
Dan Thompson, p- - a HORSE , threw a million innings for us, one of the best pitchers in Ponies history.
Randy Casford, p- another HORSE, a great lefthander with the ability to win anyway he could - always wanted the ball.
Mark Compeau, p- turned it up 6 notches in Ont. tourney by throwing the best game of his career.
Todd Neil, P- a very lively young arm, was our closer with attitude.
Glen Garson, P- a good young pitcher with the knack to get it done.
